Domenica 15 ottobre 2023, presso “Altarocca Wine Resort”, a Rocca Ripesena di Orvieto, alla presenza della segretaria nazionale della Fidapa BPW Italy, Anna Maria Turchetti, e alla presidente del Distretto Centro, Grazia Marino, si è svolta la cerimonia del passaggio delle consegne della Sezione di Orvieto, della Fidapa BPW Italy, dalla presidente uscente Francesca Compagnucci alle neo presidente Paola Morelli. Alla cerimonia hanno partecipato anche la sindaca di Orvieto, Roberta Tardani, nella duplice veste di autorità civile e socia della sezione, oltre a numerose socie.
Dopo i saluti delle Autorità Fidapa presenti, la past president Francesca Compagnucci ha ripercorso le numerose iniziative poste in essere dalla sezione nel corso del suo biennio di presidenza. La presidente Paola Morelli, avvocato, ha indicato le caratteristiche che avrà la propria presidenza nel rispetto delle norme statutarie e regolamentari della Federazione, ossia umiltà nell’ascolto, consapevolezza dell’impegno assunto, spirito di servizio nello svolgimento dell’incarico e determinazione per il raggiungimento delle finalità della Federazione. Ha poi evidenziato l’importanza del ruolo svolto dalle socie, con l’auspicio di essere coprotagoniste dell’attività associativa, affinché la sezione diventi, sempre più, luogo di informazione, formazione e confronto per le stesse. La Fidapa BPW Italy che ha lo scopo di promuovere, coordinare e sostenere le iniziative delle donne che operano nel campo delle Arti, delle Professioni e degli Affari, nella sezione di Orvieto ha raggiunto il numero di 78 iscritte.
Il direttivo della Sezione di Orvieto, per il biennio 2023-2025 è così composto: presidente Paola Morelli, vice-presidente Damiana Fidani, segretaria Maria Isabella Donati, tesoriera Federica Di Costanzo, past president Francesca Compagnucci. Dopo il passaggio della campana, è seguita una partecipata e gioiosa conviviale, con ottime pietanze, magistralmente preparate dallo chef Giangiacomo Blesio, accompagnate da ottimi vini scelti dal sommelier Roberto Santi. L’intero evento è stato allietato da piacevoli intermezzi musicali eseguiti dal maestro Riccardo Cambri.

Paola Morelli is the new president of Fidapa BPW Italy Orvieto Section
On Sunday, October 15, at the “Altarocca Wine Resort” in Rocca Ripesena di Orvieto, in the presence of the National Secretary of Fidapa BPW Italy, Anna Maria Turchetti, and the President of the Central District, Grazia Marino, the handover ceremony of the Orvieto Section of Fidapa BPW Italy took place. The past president, Francesca Compagnucci, passed on her role to the new president, Paola Morelli. The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Orvieto, Roberta Tardani, who holds both the position of a civic authority and a member of the section, as well as numerous other members.
Following the greetings from the Fidapa authorities present, the past president, Francesca Compagnucci, highlighted the various initiatives carried out by the section during her two-year presidency. The new president, Paola Morelli, an attorney, outlined the characteristics that her presidency will have, in accordance with the statutory and regulatory rules of the Federation. She emphasized the importance of humility in listening, the awareness of the responsibilities taken, a spirit of service in carrying out the role, and determination to achieve the Federation’s goals. She also stressed the significant role played by the members, expressing the hope that they would actively participate in the association’s activities, making the section an increasingly informative, educational, and collaborative place for its members.
Fidapa BPW Italy aims to promote, coordinate, and support the initiatives of women working in the fields of Arts, Professions, and Business. The Orvieto section now has a total of 78 registered members.
The board of the Orvieto Section for the 2023-2025 term is as follows: President Paola Morelli, Vice President Damiana Fidani, Secretary Maria Isabella Donati, Treasurer Federica Di Costanzo, and Past President Francesca Compagnucci. Following the bell-passing ceremony, there was a lively and joyful banquet with excellent dishes masterfully prepared by Chef Giangiacomo Blesio, accompanied by fine wines selected by sommelier Roberto Santi. The entire event was enhanced by pleasant musical interludes performed by Maestro Riccardo Cambri.
