UJ4KIDS torna a Orvieto con tre giorni di eventi, musica e programmi educativi per famiglie e giovani
Umbria Jazz 4 Kids fa il suo ritorno a Orvieto per tre giornate piene di emozioni, intrattenimento e apprendimento. Dal 29 al 31 dicembre, la città sarà immersa nella magia di Umbria Jazz 4 Kids, con un programma ricco di eventi che coinvolgeranno famiglie e giovani.
Il Teatro del Carmine come Epicentro dell’Arte e della Musica
L’emozione inizia il 29 dicembre al Teatro del Carmine, dove gli eventi e i concerti si terranno gratuitamente, fino a esaurimento posti. L’iniziativa, frutto della collaborazione tra la Fondazione Umbria Jazz e la Scuola Comunale di Musica “Adriano Casasole” di Orvieto, offrirà un’ampia gamma di attività, dalle lezioni di musica all’intrattenimento circense, fino a una carovana musicale che culminerà il 31 dicembre con un messaggio di pace e accoglienza.
Programma delle Tre Giornate Magiche
Il programma inizia il 29 dicembre alle 10:30 con un incontro al Teatro del Carmine tra le scuole cittadine e i progetti di scrittura creativa per bambini. Una particolare menzione va alla rappresentazione originale intitolata “La vera storia della Cappella di San Brizio – Racconto fantastico-musicale”, un progetto coinvolgente che vede bambini di 10 anni interpretare una storia scritta collettivamente, sotto la guida dello scrittore Andrea Laprovitera e la regia di Alberto Romizi.
Successivamente, gli alunni delle classi 3C e 4C della Scuola Primaria di Ciconia dell’Istituto comprensivo Orvieto-Montecchio si esibiranno in “La Musica delle Emozioni”, un’esperienza che trasforma la musica in strumento di crescita, coinvolgendo i ragazzi in movimenti corporei, percezione del ritmo e attività motorie.
Il 30 dicembre, sempre al Teatro del Carmine, sarà il giorno della giocoleria e dei clown con lo spettacolo “Smile – Concerto Clownesco” a cura di Le Clownné & Little Brown Jug Band, un miscuglio irresistibile di musica e comicità.
Il 31 dicembre, la manifestazione si concluderà con “La Buona Strada”, un evento itinerante che partirà da Piazza della Repubblica alle 10:30 e si dirigerà verso Piazza Duomo attraverso le vie del Centro Storico. Animato dalla Banda giovanile della Filarmonica Luigi Mancinelli di Orvieto, questo percorso unico si ispira alla fiaba di Alice Rohrwacher, “La buona strada”, portando con sé un messaggio di speranza e accoglienza.
Umbria Jazz 4 Kids a Orvieto è molto più di un semplice evento musicale: è un’esperienza coinvolgente che abbraccia l’arte, la cultura e l’educazione in un mix indimenticabile per tutta la famiglia.

Umbria Jazz 4 Kids is set to make a spectacular return to Orvieto, offering three days filled with excitement, entertainment, and educational enrichment. From December 29th to 31st, the city will be immersed in the enchanting atmosphere of Umbria Jazz 4 Kids, featuring a diverse program of events catering to families and the youth.
The Carmine Theater: A Hub of Art and Music
The thrill commences on December 29th at the Carmine Theater, where events and concerts will unfold, with free admission until capacity is reached. This initiative, a result of collaboration between the Umbria Jazz Foundation and the Municipal School of Music “Adriano Casasole” in Orvieto, promises a wide array of activities, ranging from music lessons to circus entertainment, culminating in a musical caravan on December 31st, delivering a message of peace and hospitality.
Schedule of Enchanting Three Days
The program kicks off on December 29th at 10:30 with a gathering at the Carmine Theater, bringing together city schools and creative writing projects for children. A special highlight is the original performance titled “The True Story of the Chapel of San Brizio – Fantastic-Musical Tale,” an engaging project where 10-year-old children collectively interpret a story under the guidance of writer Andrea Laprovitera and director Alberto Romizi.
Following this, students from classes 3C and 4C of the Primary School of Ciconia, part of the Comprehensive Institute Orvieto-Montecchio, will showcase “The Music of Emotions,” an experience transforming music into a tool for growth by engaging students in body movements, rhythm perception, and motor activities.
On December 30th, still at the Carmine Theater, the day is dedicated to juggling and clowning with the show “Smile – Clownesque Concert” by Le Clownné & Little Brown Jug Band, an irresistible blend of music and humor.
The event concludes on December 31st with “The Good Road,” a traveling event starting at 10:30 in Piazza della Repubblica, winding its way to Piazza Duomo through the historic streets. Animated by the Youth Band of the Luigi Mancinelli Philharmonic of Orvieto, this unique journey takes inspiration from Alice Rohrwacher’s fairy tale, “The Good Road,” carrying a message of hope and hospitality.
