Recital per pianoforte e fisarmonica all’inaugurazione di “Insieme nel segno della musica” al Ridotto del Mancinelli

Torna a risuonare il Ridotto del Teatro Mancinelli di Orvieto, tempio cittadino della grande musica e dei virtuosi interpreti, con il prossimo avvio di “INSIEME – Nel Segno della Musica”. Scuola Comunale di Musica di Orvieto “Adriano Casasole”, Unitre Orvieto e ISAO (che ha scelto di ridare energia alla propria gloriosa e storica tradizione musicale) presentano l’idea condivisa di una Stagione di Concerti, sotto la direzione artistica del M° Riccardo Cambri, che accompagnerà gli amanti della musica da ottobre 2023 a maggio 2024; fondamentali e distintivi la sinergia e il sostegno del Comune di Orvieto e della Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Orvieto. L’ambizioso progetto è reso possibile dalla lungimiranza della Scuola Comunale e dell’Unitre che, insieme al prezioso apporto di Lions Club Orvieto e Rotary Club Orvieto, hanno acquistato e posizionato nel Ridotto, lo scorso anno, un pregevole pianoforte a coda.

“INSIEME – Nel Segno della Musica” parte domenica 29 ottobre 2023, alle ore 17, con il primo evento in programma al Ridotto del Teatro Mancinelli: RÉCITAL DI PIANOFORTE E FISARMONICA solista il M° Riccardo Cambri, con la partecipazione del M° Chin-Hsiang Hsu e di Olga Tarlev. Il M° Cambri, reduce dall’entusiasmante successo artistico di “Quanta luce nel mondo”, colto in coppia con l’attore Giulio Scarpati (organizzato dall’Opera del Duomo di Orvieto all’interno della Cappella di San Brizio per i 500 anni dalla morte di Luca Signorelli), si esibirà al pianoforte e – vera e propria rarità – alla fisarmonica, lo strumento col quale si avvicinò alla musica in tenerissima età e che coltivò con intensa passione. Il repertorio andrà da Beethoven a Debussy, da Brahms a Piazzolla e Bacalov; in alcuni brani sarà accompagnato dalle pianiste Chin-Hsiang Hsu e Olga Tarlev, fra le migliori allieve della sua lunga attività didattica presso la Scuola Comunale di Orvieto. Il concerto sarà impreziosito da una deliziosa sorpresa che emozionerà gli appassionati della storia e dei personaggi orvietani: Riccardo Cambri suonerà per la prima volta in pubblico la pregiata fisarmonica Scandalli appartenuta al signor Reno Montanucci (indimenticabile imprenditore e uomo di cultura orvietano), che gli eredi hanno donato alla Scuola di Musica ed affidato alla cura del M° Cambri.

PIANO AND ACCORDION RECITAL AT THE INAUGURATION OF “TOGETHER IN THE NAME OF MUSIC” AT THE MANCINELLI THEATER’S FOYER

The Ridotto of the Mancinelli Theater in Orvieto, the city’s temple of great music and virtuoso performers, will once again come alive with the upcoming launch of “TOGETHER – In the Name of Music.” The Orvieto Municipal School of Music “Adriano Casasole,” Unitre Orvieto, and ISAO (which has chosen to revive its glorious and historic musical tradition) present the shared idea of a Concert Season, under the artistic direction of Maestro Riccardo Cambri, which will accompany music lovers from October 2023 to May 2024. The essential and distinctive elements are the synergy and support from the Municipality of Orvieto and the Cassa di Risparmio di Orvieto Foundation.

This ambitious project has been made possible through the foresight of the Municipal School and Unitre, who, along with the valuable contributions from the Lions Club Orvieto and Rotary Club Orvieto, acquired and placed a fine grand piano in the Ridotto last year.

“TOGETHER – In the Name of Music” begins on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at 5:00 PM with the first event scheduled in the Mancinelli Theater’s Ridotto: a PIANO AND ACCORDION RECITAL by Maestro Riccardo Cambri, with the participation of Maestro Chin-Hsiang Hsu and Olga Tarlev. Maestro Cambri, fresh from the artistic success of “Quanta luce nel mondo,” where he collaborated with actor Giulio Scarpati (organized by the Opera del Duomo di Orvieto within the Cappella di San Brizio for the 500th anniversary of Luca Signorelli’s death), will perform on the piano and, in a rare treat, on the accordion—an instrument he embraced from a very young age and cultivated with intense passion.

The repertoire will span from Beethoven to Debussy, from Brahms to Piazzolla and Bacalov; in some pieces, he will be accompanied by the pianists Chin-Hsiang Hsu and Olga Tarlev, who are among the best students of his long teaching career at the Orvieto Municipal School of Music. The concert will be enriched by a delightful surprise that will move enthusiasts of Orvieto’s history and figures: Riccardo Cambri will play for the first time in public the valuable Scandalli accordion that belonged to Mr. Reno Montanucci (a memorable Orvietan entrepreneur and man of culture), which the heirs have donated to the School of Music and entrusted to Maestro Cambri’s care.
