Una presenza discreta che, oltre a finalit\u00e0 preventive e dissuasive, ha permesso l&#8217;individuazione, anche nel recente passato, degli autori di alcuni reati e danneggiamenti.<br>L&#8217;attuale dotazione verr\u00e0 raddoppiata nei prossimi mesi, con\u00a0<strong>le telecamere attive che saliranno a un totale di 23.<\/strong>\u00a0E&#8217; quanto pianificato in un recente incontro che il Sindaco Ruggiano ha avuto con il comandante della Polizia municipale Maggiore Giuseppe Padricelli.<br><strong>Tre nuovi impianti risultano gi\u00e0 finanziati\u00a0<\/strong>e andranno ad essere collocati in prossimit\u00e0 di tre istituti scolastici, di cui uno in una sede frazionale. Nell&#8217;ambito del\u00a0<strong>project financing di Enel X<\/strong>, in fase esecutiva dal mese di novembre, \u00e8 prevista l&#8217;installazione di\u00a0<strong>ulteriori sei videocamere<\/strong>\u00a0in prossimit\u00e0 degli svincoli E45 di San Damiano e di Ponterio, localit\u00e0 che sar\u00e0 monitorata da 4 nuovi impianti. Il Comune di Todi sta inoltre partecipando al\u00a0<strong>nuovo specifico bando regionale per il finanziamento\u00a0<\/strong>di altri tre punti di video sorveglianza che saranno collocati nella frazione di Pantalla.<br>&#8220;Stiamo dando forma al<strong>\u00a0piano organico di videosorveglianza del territorio<\/strong>\u00a0attingendo a risorse esterne al bilancio comunale &#8211; spiega il Sindaco Antonino Ruggiano &#8211; senza precluderci la possibilit\u00e0 di integrazioni con risorse proprie dell&#8217;ente o con altre istituzioni, come \u00e8 nel caso dell&#8217;Etab La Consolazione che ha\u00a0<strong>in programma l&#8217;installazione di un impianto a servizio del nuovo parco degli ulivi e della passeggiata della Rocca&#8221;.<\/strong><br>Anche i nuovi impianti di videosorveglianza saranno collegati alla centrale operativa del comando di polizia locale. Tra gli obiettivi quello di\u00a0<strong>contrastare episodi di microcriminalit\u00e0, in particolare quello dei danneggiamenti al patrimonio pubblico<\/strong>, e di controllare il traffico ai fini della prevenzione dei furti in abitazione.<br>Il piano rientra nel protocollo di legalit\u00e0 sottoscritto negli anni scorsi tra il Comune e la Prefettura di Perugia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ENGLISH VERSION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><mark class=\"kt-highlight\">In a few months, the number of surveillance cameras in Todi will increase to 23.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are currently 11 surveillance systems active in the city of Todi, located in seven areas of vehicular and pedestrian transit in the historic city center, all connected to the central operation of the local police command. This discreet presence, in addition to its preventive and dissuasive purposes, has allowed for the identification of the perpetrators of some crimes and vandalism in the recent past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The current setup will be doubled in the coming months, with the number of active cameras increasing to a total of 23. This was discussed in a recent meeting between Mayor Ruggiano and the Municipal Police Commander, Major Giuseppe Padricelli.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Three new systems are already funded and will be placed near three educational institutions, one of which is in a neighboring location. As part of Enel X&#8217;s project financing, which has been in the execution phase since November, the installation of six more cameras is planned near the E45 intersections in San Damiano and Ponterio, with four new systems monitoring that location. The Municipality of Todi is also participating in a new regional grant to fund three additional surveillance points, which will be placed in the Pantalla neighborhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We are shaping an organized plan for video surveillance of the territory, drawing on external resources to the municipal budget,&#8221; explained Mayor Antonino Ruggiano. &#8220;This doesn&#8217;t preclude the possibility of integrating it with the municipality&#8217;s own resources or with other institutions, as is the case with Etab La Consolazione, which plans to install a system to serve the new Olive Grove Park and the Rocca Walk.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new surveillance systems will also be connected to the central operation of the local police command. Among the objectives are to combat incidents of petty crime, particularly damage to public property, and to control traffic for the prevention of residential burglaries.
