L’informazione drogata di Hamas

A due settimane esatte dall’orrendo attacco terroristico di Hamas al cuore dello Stato di Israele, con il massacro di oltre 1400 tra soldati e civili inermi ed il rapimento di oltre 200 persone deportate a Gaza e nelle mani grondanti sangue innocente di spietati terroristi, un bilancio si può trarre sull’informazione e sulle conseguenze causate da essa.
Se nelle prime ore dall’azione proditoria e violenta l’indignazione ed il cordoglio sono stati unanimi, sono bastati pochi giorni a modificare la narrativa e a far spuntare come funghi i primi pseudo opinionisti che affollano l’etere, i social ed i media di qualsiasi tipo per sentirci propinare distinguo, tesi ambigue e pareri espressi con una impronta di malafede assoluta. Nel ribaltamento del racconto di questi professorini da strapazzo (poveri studenti e povere università italiane),finte ambasciatrici e inviate di una organizzazione ormai ridotta a farsa come l’Onu, la colpa è esclusivamente di Israele e delle sue politiche e non vi è spazio per altro ragionamento.
Fermo restando che Israele è l’unica democrazia di quell’aerea di mondo governata in altre nazioni da tiranni e corrotti e che solamente per questo motivo andrebbe difesa e tutelata a prescindere, a supporto di tesi aberranti e prive di obiettività e capacità di analisi arrivano le “truppe cammellate” (mai come in questo caso aggettivo fu più appropriato) di Al Jazeera, emittente del Qatar, nazione che foraggia Hamas e ne ospita e protegge in tranquille e lussuose dimore i suoi dirigenti e delle sue consorelle affini in occidente.
La fake news per eccellenza di questi ultimi giorni è la tragedia dell’ospedale di Gaza, colpito probabilmente dal fuoco amico di un razzo della Jhiad islamica partito proprio dalla striscia e caduto (accidentalmente?) sul nosocomio.
Dopo 5 minuti (cinque) dall’impatto il sottopancia dell’emittente araba recitava “Gaza-500 morti per missile israeliano all’ospedale”, facendo immediatamente da megafono di Hamas, come puntualmente avviene e drogando l’informazione al punto tale che gli stessi media occidentali sono caduti immediatamente nella trappola, senza fare verifiche e senza accertarsi delle fonti, come invece il codice deontologico giornalistico imporrebbe.
Tutto questo ha portato le piazze arabe ad infiammarsi con violenze ed attacchi alle sedi diplomatiche israeliane e alle manifestazioni pro Hamas in Europa ed in USA, sfociate in una pericolosa deriva antiebraica, come sabato a Milano dove il coro dei manifestanti, in arabo, recitava “Apriamo i confini ed uccidiamo gli ebrei”.
Nelle stesse ore la BBC, emittente inglese considerata maestra dell’informazione, era costretta a scusarsi per aver riportato la fake news dell’ospedale di Gaza mentre lo stesso ravvedimento non si vede in Italia, in testate e televisioni generaliste dove una in particolare, che non fa capo ne alla Rai ne a Mediaset, si sta distinguendo per faziosità e per squilibri in ogni talk proposto, con una sproporzione di “opinionisti” pro Hamas invitati costantemente e con scarso contraddittorio che fa pensare amaramente al degrado a cui siamo arrivati ed alla disinformazione che si fa e che rende il momento ancora più complicato.Dando delle attenuanti ad Hamas e giustificandone il terrorismo non si rende giustizia ne all’informazione, ne alla causa palestinese che questa banda di criminali pretende di rappresentare.
Ci aspettano giornate dure e momenti difficili, ancor più di quelli tremendi che abbiamo già vissuto e richiedere una informazione obiettiva e responsabile è un diritto per chi ne fruisce ed un dovere per i professionisti del settore. Agli organi preposti il compito di vigilare e agli editori quello di chiedere senso di responsabilità, obiettività ed accortezza ai propri direttori di testate, perché la posta in gioco, questa volta, è molto alta ed a  rischio sono la convivenza nelle nostre città e l’incolumità fisica di ogni cittadino.

The Hamas-Biased Information

Two weeks after the horrific terrorist attack by Hamas in the heart of the State of Israel, which resulted in the massacre of over 1,400 soldiers and unarmed civilians, as well as the abduction of more than 200 people taken to Gaza, it is possible to assess the impact of the information and its consequences.

In the initial hours following the treacherous and violent action, there was unanimous outrage and grief. However, within a few days, the narrative began to change, and pseudo-pundits started to emerge in the media, social networks, and various media outlets. They began offering distinctions, ambiguous theses, and opinions expressed with a clear sense of bad faith.

These armchair commentators, who seem to lack a solid educational background (poor students and poor Italian universities), phony ambassadors, and representatives of an organization that has become a farce, such as the United Nations, shifted the blame exclusively onto Israel and its policies, leaving no room for other perspectives.

While it should be emphasized that Israel is the only democracy in a region ruled by tyrants and corruption, and for this reason alone, it should be defended and protected, the support for aberrant and biased theses lacking objectivity and analytical capability comes from the “camel troops” (an adjective that has never been more fitting) of Al Jazeera, a Qatari broadcaster that funds Hamas and hosts and protects its leaders and affiliates in luxurious and tranquil residences in the West.

The ultimate fake news of these recent days is the tragedy at the Gaza hospital, struck probably by friendly fire from an Islamic Jihad rocket launched from the Gaza Strip, which fell (accidentally?) on the hospital.

Within five minutes of the impact, the Arabic broadcaster’s sub-title read, “Gaza – 500 killed by an Israeli missile at the hospital,” immediately amplifying Hamas’s propaganda. Western media outlets, without verification and without confirming sources as required by journalistic ethics, fell into the same trap.

All of this led to violent demonstrations and attacks on Israeli diplomatic missions in Arab cities and pro-Hamas rallies in Europe and the United States, culminating in a dangerous anti-Semitic trend, such as the incident in Milan where the demonstrators chanted in Arabic, “Open the borders and kill the Jews.”

During the same hours, the BBC, considered a master of journalism, was forced to apologize for reporting the Gaza hospital fake news. However, a similar apology is yet to be seen in Italy, particularly in general news outlets and television stations. One station, not affiliated with either Rai or Mediaset, stands out for its bias and imbalance in its talk shows, with a disproportionate number of pro-Hamas commentators who are constantly invited with little counterbalance. This situation sadly reflects the degradation we have reached, and the disinformation during these times has made the situation even more complicated.

By giving Hamas leniency and justifying its terrorism, justice is not served to either the cause of information or the Palestinian cause that this band of criminals claims to represent.

We are facing challenging days and difficult moments, even more so than the terrible ones we have already experienced. Demanding objective and responsible reporting is a right for those who consume it and a duty for professionals in the field. The relevant authorities have the task of overseeing this, and the publishers have the responsibility to demand a sense of responsibility, objectivity, and caution from their editorial directors. The stakes are high this time, and the coexistence in our cities and the physical safety of every citizen are at risk. Handle with care.
